Recent news about our Home:

This month of October, our family became bigger! Why?

Well, we welcomed Juan Alberto, who came to live with us Oct. 8^th.

Juan Alberto is Amanda’s brother. Amanda was raised at Casa Bernabe and now she is serving full time

At Jesucristo es mi Casa, the extension of CB in zone 6 in Guatemala city for more little kids.

Juan Alberto was raised by his parents in his own house. When he turned 16 years old his father allowed him to leave the house to find a better opportunity to study.

We are all happy with Juan Alberto, but especially Noé, our 10 years old son, because he now has “an older brother”. They share the room and spend a lot of time “working” and playing together!

Since Amanda talked to us to give him this opportunity to study near Antigua, (Amanda is 24 now)

And she has been put “in charge” by her father to help her younger brother, Hugo and I agreed to help Amanda during the time that Juan needs to complete his formal school.

Juan Alberto helped his parents for many years, working with his father in Agriculture, and helping his mother, who always needed special help because she is blind. Juan did his best, all the time, However, he was not able to complete his Elementary school yet.

Amanda was always feeling the need of helping his brother in a special way, yet her father had not decided to let Juan Alberto go. But God must have a special plan for his life…

Amanda comes to see him every other weekend and she needs to raise funds to support him with his Education. School for him won’t start until January. Meanwhile, these 2 ½ months of vacation, Juan Alberto is adapting here and he is helping Hugo full time in the garden.

Hugo’s parents also want to help. They have a room that he can use whenever he needs to study or wants spend time with them. However, we want to include Juan in our daily activities of Vacation, Bible studies and teach him some English. We thank God that He is always providing special people to help!

Prayer Requests:

• Please pray that our Vacation Bible School goes all well. That God touches the hearts of families of our neighborhood through this, and that He allows us reach some more families.
• That Amanda is able to raise the funds for Juan Alberto´s education.
• That Hugo can find open doors to sell his products.
• That God strengthens our daughter Ilse who is about to graduate, from College.
• That we are able to purchase a few more tables for the tutoring and hand works that we do at home.
• For strength and wisdom.

Thanking God especially for:

• His special care,
• For good health
• Economical provision,
• For his strength, wisdom, peace
• For all His special teachings that He has for each one of us daily
• For his protection, etc.

Once more, dear Friends, THANKS for all your support in Prayers, economically and in all the ways you do!

You are investing in His kingdom, for sure He will always reward, and multiply it!
