On to other notes, Hugo was invited Dec. 18^th to lead a workshop of Hebrew Dance in Verbo Church, in the city. It was such a blessing to present this dance as the Family of Mision Aljaba. This time, Hugo was teaching 4 basic steps with Bible/Hebrew meanings. It was so nice to be able to share with people from other churches as well.

The scripture says, “I spoke because I believed.” In the same spirit of faith we also speak because we believe. We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus to life, will also raise us up with Jesus and take us, together with you, into his presence. All this is for your sake; and as God’s grace reaches more and more people, they will offer to the Glory of God more prayers of Thanksgiving. 2 Cor. 4:13-15.

C H R I S T M A S 2010

For the first time, we prepared a Christmas Program with the children for their parents on Dec. 21^st.

It was so nice to see the kid’s faces because many of them had never performed before several people. They were so excited to dress differently and represent someone in the story of Jesus’ Birth!

During the Program, Hugo’s mother shared with them a lesson about “The Real Christmas Meaning” which was such a blessing for many of the parents and children. We had some singing, dancing, drama, telling bible verses, etc.

The nice thing of this evening was that several parents who were not interested in visiting here before, are now interested not only in visiting, but also in joining some of the programs with workshops and Bible studies we have open for the community. And, a single father asking Hugo for some counseling. Praise God for this opportunity to extend God’s good news and love to more people!! This encourages us to continue seeking Him more.

JESUS WAS BORN IN A MANGER. HE LIVED HUMBLY, AND HE GAVE THE BEST OF HIM FOR ALL OF US.

“She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in cloths and laid him in a manger. There was no room for them to stay in the inn”. (Luke 2:7) But a great army of heaven´s angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God: “GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN, AND PEACE ON EARTH THO THOSE WITH WHOM HE IS PLEASED!” (Luke 2:13-14).
